Brighton is a seaside town in East Sussex, with lots on all year round, here are some of our highlights if you are in the area.
Brighton Fringe is on from the 4 May – 3 June 2018, it is one of the largest fringe festivals in the world showing the best in Brighton’s unique cultural heritage with 970 events taking place across the vibrant town. Similarly, the Brighton Festival is on from the 4th – 27th May 2018 and is an annual celebration of Brighton’s inherent creativity, celebrating the best in music, dance, circus and much more.
Pop into The Ivy in the Lanes for a bite to eat followed by a stroll through The Lanes, a collection of quirky boutiques and independent shops. The Royal pavilion is also located close by, the stunning palace is one of Brighton’s most iconic buildings and a must see if you are in the area. Enjoy the afternoon on Brighton’s bustling seafront, the famous Brighton pier and traditional seaside fun, makes for the perfect family day out.
The Ivy in the Lanes is located just a short walk away from two beautiful theatre venues, ideally situated for pre and post theatre dining. Theatre Royal Brighton is one of the UK’s most renowned theatres with stunning architecture and hosts a variety of productions and workshops throughout the year. The Grade I listed, Brighton Dome has also been a leading performance arts venue for hundreds of years with a diverse number of events for all to enjoy.
