We are delighted to be involved in Snailspace for Martlets Hospice. Our snail has been designed by talented local artist, Danni Smith, who has created a beauitful piece of art inspired by bee-friendly plants.
The snail is covered in choisya, sunflowers, poppies, roses, michaelmas daisies, dandelions and ivy. Each side of the snail reflects a season, showing the range of bee-friendly plants that grow all year round.
Our snail will be joining the other 50 sculptures on the streets of Brighton until 18 November, to raise awareness of the great work Martlets Hospice does. You can find our snail outside the restaurant on Ship Street.
Throughout this time we will have ‘The Queen Bee’ cocktail available on our drinks list. Featuring Warner Edwards Honeybee gin, apricot brandy, lemon juice & Fever-Tree lemonade and garnished with fresh mint.
For those dining, there will also be our Snailspace Postcards – drawing on the history of the restaurant being located in Brighton’s old post office.
